At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2008, held in Houston, TX from July 7th - 10th, Microsoft announced that Applied Information Sciences (AIS) was awarded the annual Partner of the Year Award in the "Competency" category for the Mid-Atlantic region. The Microsoft Regional General Manager, Efrem Stringfellow, presented the award with kind words about AIS' stellar performance and track record; highlighting our commitment to success and our dedication to the Microsoft Partner Program.
"AIS received this recognition through the hard work, dedication and significant investments of several AIS team members who have strived to grow our Business Intelligence competency, readiness plan, solutions offerings, and staff certifications in this area," said AIS Regional Sales Manager, Scott Mitchell. "We are pleased to see AIS' efforts be acknowledged at this Worldwide Microsoft partner forum and are especially proud that AIS received the Partner Competency Award from the regional team for our work and investment in building a world-class Business Intelligence competency."
In attendance at the conference were Scott Mitchell and Bill Pearce, of the AIS East Region Sales Team, to represent AIS and accept the award on the behalf of AIS.
