Now Hiring for a Federal Proposal Coordinator Analyst:

AIS is growing fast, and we are looking to hire a Federal Proposal Coordinator Analyst. This role will serve as a member of the Bids & Proposals Team to help our business development team and business operations by coordinating sales activities, facilitating the bids and proposals processes, capture analysis of Federal opportunities, and process improvement initiatives to help drive revenue growth.

The Federal Proposal Coordinator Analyst will make an impact on the growth and efficacy of the entire Federal Operations team by accomplishing the following:

  • Research, analyze, and gather data for GSA proposal activities related to contracts and potential opportunities for the Federal team
  • Support Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP) by drafting, proofreading, and formatting proposals
  • Lead proposal and client tasks such as preparing FedEx/UPS packages, customer marketing resources, and various tasks as needed
  • Coordinate and moderate team meetings including logistics, formulating agendas, taking and distributing minutes, managing project deadlines, and ensuring action items are executed
  • Maintain and edit SharePoint sites to include organizing information, adding/deleting members, creating libraries, uploading content, and creating collaborative sites between practices and projects
  • Develop and catalog PowerPoint presentations used in briefings per branding guidelines and reuse
  • Conduct internal audits with Project/Engagement Manager
  • Keep detailed project notes and records and create task lists for team members
  • Monitor proposal and capture progress
  • Keep all members of the team up-to-date with current information and paperwork

As a Federal Business Development Executive, You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of project, account, or executive administration experience assisting internal operations and external projects for customers
  • Experience using established corporate processes and policies for repeatability
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Skype, and PowerPoint
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to accurately track data for reporting
  • Self-started with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, without supervision
  • Good organizational skills, reliability, and dependability
  • Comfortable working with people and within a team environment
  • Interest in or understanding of Federal IT Consulting
  • Critical and analytical skills with refined attention to detail
  • Experience with SharePoint content management usage
  • Structured, process-oriented thinker
  • Knowledge of Scrum, project management, CMMI, and quality management
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to elicit and document processes and procedures

Other Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of Federal IT contracting and proposals
  • General understanding of Shipley Process
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Familiarity with process improvement frameworks (CMMI & ISO)
