Events:AIS’ Steve Suing to present Microservices at the next TRINUG Main Meeting

Steven will give a high-level architecture presentation focused on the trending Microservices architectural style.  The presentation will cover the inception of Microservices, definition, usage in the industry and characteristics. Unlike most Microservices talks, this talk will give concrete examples of its uses and opinionated criticisms of this trending style. When you leave this meeting you’ll know what Microservices are, how big they should be, how they relate to other styles like REST, DDD, SOA, CQRS, and event sourcing.

Presenter: Steven Suing

Steven has been developing applications for 15 years and is currently a practice manager at AIS and an architect on a billing modernization project at GEICO. He has been interested in distributed architecture, SOA and DDD for 4 years.
